Suppose you have a line of text in a cell and suppose the length of the text exceeds not only the width of the cell but also the width of the Formula Bar. However, in some situations or following certain actions, Wrap Text is automatically applied to the cell. Wrap text within a cell is a setting which can be toggled on or off as wanted by clicking the Wrap Text button in Home > Alignment section of the ribbon (or by use of a button in the Quick Access Toolbar if that shortcut has been included there). Is there a way to disable or block the automatic application of wrap text in Excel (2013)?
